Membership Criteria for Tour Operators  

1.  The vast majority of existing members must agree to an operator

    joining the group.   

2.   All new members must be members of SATSA and be in possession of the bonding.   

3.   All members must support the groups preferred suppliers. 

4.   All members must support the other members in the group who supply services such as transfers and tours.    

5.    Members may not use the services of other competitor operators for accommodation reservations.    

6.   All members must be owner run and managed.   

7.   All new members must have at least 5 years experience in the industry.     

8.   New members should be bringing something unique to the group. (new source markets such as the Russian market, Italian market, German market, Asian market, South American market etc). Or a specialist service such as bird watching, disabled specialist etc.

Membership Criteria for Preferred Suppliers   

1.    All new preferred suppliers need to be approved by the majority of the group before contracting can commence.  

2.    All new preferred suppliers must agree to a minimum STO.    

3.    All contracting with preferred suppliers will be done on a two year contract period.
