New Activities in the Kruger National Park

NEW ACTIVITIES IN THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Dear All,

Please note that the following activities are available in the Kruger Park with immediate effect.

All of these new activities are to be booked at camp level directly only.

Park and Ride

The park and ride will only be available from the gates and only when gate quotas have been reached on busy days. The guests will park their vehicles outside the park gates and join the drive which lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
The cost for the Park and Ride will be R180.00 per adult and R90.00 per child. Normal conservation fee charges still apply for those guests without Wild Cards. Rates are valid up to 31 October 2012.

Park and Ride are available at the following gates only:

Kruger Gate
Numbi Gate
Malelane Gate
Orpen Gate
Phalaborwa Gate
Punda Maria Gate
Phabeni Gate

Park and Braai

Like the Park and Ride, this activity will also only be available after gate quotas have been reached on busy days. The guests will park their vehicles outside the park gates and get onto a game drive vehicle which will take them to the nearest picnic spot inside the Kruger National Park . Guests will be collected from the picnic site at 15h00 and taken back to the gate where they have parked their vehicles. Park and Braai will be R50.00 per adult and R25.00 per child. Normal conservation fee changes still apply for those guests without Wild Cards. Rates are valid up to 31 October 2012.

Mountain Bike Trail at Phalaborwa Gate

At Phalaborwa gate they now offer guest the opportunity to join a guided mountain bike trail in the Kruger National Pak. Guests who bring their own bikes will be changed R480.00 per person or R675.00 if they do not have their own bike. From 1 Nov 2011 this rate will go up to R500.00 if you bring your own bike and R700.00 if you do not have your own. Unfortunately no children under 12 allowed. Sunset

Boma Drive
at Mopani

Mopani offers guests a sunset boma drive at R260.00 per adults and R130.00 per child. No children under 6 allowed. Unfortunately the rates from 1 Nov 2011 – 31 Oct 2012 is not yet available. For more info, please contact Mopani Rest Camp directly

Remember that all of the above activities can only be booked directly at the camp or gate from which they are offered.
