Situated in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin, adjacent to the Kruger National Park , Elephant Plains Game Lodge offers comfortable style and affordable luxury. This family owned lodge, accommodates a maximum of 24 guests, which ensures personal service and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The lodge is situated on the dry Manyeleti riverbed and overlooks a permanent waterhole. The pool deck guarantees an excellent view of a variety of animals, coming from the plains to drink.

The lodge layout caters for the discerning traveller, offering different types of accommodation to cater for a variety of needs. The six luxury suites comprise a lounge area and fireplace, mini bar, inside/outside shower, air conditioning and private viewing deck with spectacular views of the surrounding bush. The five rondavels are set in the beautifully landscaped garden of the original family holiday camp and one can still feel the old bushveld charm upon entering. The rondavels have air conditioning and mini bars.

The Manyeleti honeymoon suite provides for romantic elegance and the setting ensures privacy with a stunning view. This glass fronted suite has all the regular luxuries and also boasts a private splash pool and sala, ideal for a mid-morning nap.

Mealtimes are sumptuous experiences with tasty international cuisine and South African specialities. Breakfast and lunch are enjoyed in the dining room or on the deck. Dinner is served around a log fire in the boma while enjoying the mystical nocturnal sounds under the African sky.

Elephant Plains is world-renowned for excellent game-viewing. Experienced rangers and trackers endeavour to track the Big 5 and share the magnificent sights and sounds of the bush with guests. Bushwalks are offered daily and provide the exciting opportunity to take a closer look at the unique plants, birds and animals of the Sabi Sand.
