About Kapama River Lodge

The newly renovated Kapama Buffalo Camp offers a unique and intimate experience in the African bush. It is ideal for discovering big game Africa in true safari tented style without compromising on comfort. Ten luxury canvas tents, each accommodating two guests, are set on stilts amongst the canopies of ancient trees which line a seasonal river below. The river rarely flows and antelopes are seen daily walking along the sandy riverbed. Each of the en suite tents are inter connected with wooden walkways, which run high above the buffalo bed. Landscaped by Mother Nature herself, the entertainment facilities which include lounge, dining room and boma are surrounded by an indigenous garden. . A tranquil swimming pool provides the perfect spot to while away idle moments between dawns and evening safaris, an elephant back safari is also available to Buffalo Camp guests.

CHILDREN:
Children of all ages are welcome at Kapama River Lodge. All children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by a responsible adult during game drives and bush walks. Children will be permitted on game drives and walks at the sole discretion of the ranger or manager
