About Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp

Gorilla Forest Camp is located in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the natural habitat for just over half the world’s last surviving population of Mountain Gorillas.  The Gorilla Tracking experience is a unique opportunity afforded only to a select few, as just eight visitors are allowed to view habituated group each day. Gorilla Forest Camp is the perfect base for tracking Experience.  Accommodation is in eight large en-suite “tents” which have 2 queen-sized beds and the amazing experience of a bath-tub looking out onto the forest – offering luxury in the heart of the rain forest!

Children are welcome at the camp. Children 2 - 15 years are required to share with an adult.

Only children aged 15 or above can track the gorillas. Children below 2 years stay free of charge. Children 2 - 11 pay 50% of the adult rate, Children 12+ years charged the adult rate
